Kitchen Electrical

Appliance Installation

Ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers - any hardwired kitchen appliance. I'll connect it properly and make sure your board can handle the load.

Ovens

Wall ovens, under-bench ovens, double ovens. Hardwired connection to a dedicated circuit with the right cable size and protection.

Cooktops

Induction and ceramic cooktops often need a dedicated circuit. I check your board capacity and run the circuit if needed.

Rangehoods

Hardwired rangehood installation including the electrical connection. Ducted or recirculating - I do the electrical side.

Dishwashers

Most dishwashers plug in, but some need a hardwired connection. I can add a dedicated circuit if your existing setup won't handle it.

What's Involved

Most modern ovens and induction cooktops need a dedicated circuit - they draw too much power to share with other appliances. If you're upgrading from an old electric stove to a new induction setup, there's a good chance the existing wiring won't be adequate.

I'll check what you've got, tell you if it's suitable, and if not, quote on running a new circuit from your switchboard. For newer homes in Baldivis and Secret Harbour, this is usually straightforward. Older homes in Waikiki or Safety Bay sometimes need a board upgrade first.

Gas Cooktops

I can do the electrical ignition and powerpoint work for gas cooktops, but the gas connection itself needs a licensed gas fitter. I work with trusted local gas plumbers and can coordinate if needed.
